Diffusion Equation is a math formula that predicts how fast something spreads from crowded spots to empty ones.
Think of it this way
A drop of food coloring falls into a glass of still water. At first, the color is dark at the center and faint near the edges. The dye spreads outward, moving fast where it is crowded and slower where it thins out. The diffusion equation predicts how far the color travels and how fast.
