Influenza Virus
Influenza virus is a germ that infects the nose and lungs and causes the flu.
Think of it this way
The flu virus is like a small ball covered in tiny hooks. The hooks grab onto the lining of your nose and throat, the way a burr clings to a wool sock. Once stuck, the ball pushes what is inside it through the wall and into the cell. The cell then builds copies of the ball and sends them out to spread.
