Introversion and Extraversion
Introversion and extraversion is how much a person gains energy from being with others or from being alone.
Think of it this way
A jar with holes in its lid lets air in from outside — that is an extravert. A sealed jar with air already inside keeps its own air — that is an introvert. The extravert jar needs the outside flow to feel full. The introvert jar already has what it needs, sealed inside.
Explaining introversion and extraversion by grade level
Some people feel happy in big groups. Others like quiet time alone. Watch how people move their hands when they talk. A shy person may use small, close moves. A bold person may wave big and wide.
