Steam Turbine
Steam Turbine is a machine with blades that spin when steam pushes on them, turning heat into motion.
Think of it this way
A pot of boiling water sends steam up through a small hole in the lid. The steam hits flat paddle shapes on a ring above the pot. Each paddle pushes the next one, and the whole ring spins. That spinning motion is what a steam turbine does. It turns steam into turning force.
Explaining steam turbine by grade level
When you boil water, steam comes out. If you aim that steam at a small wheel, the wheel spins. The harder the steam blows, the faster the wheel goes. That spinning can help make power.
