Artificial Intelligence
Artificial Intelligence is software that learns from examples to make choices on its own.
Think of it this way
A baker keeps a tally sheet of which cookies sell out each day. After many days, the sheet shows a clear pattern. Certain flavors go fast, so the baker bakes more of those next time. AI works the same way: it studies many examples, finds patterns, and uses them to make choices.
Explaining artificial intelligence by grade level
Think about a game like Connect 4. You learn which moves are good by playing many times. A computer can learn the same way. It plays the game over and over, and each time it gets a bit better at picking where to drop its piece.
