Cell Proliferation
Cell Proliferation is how cells grow and divide to make more cells.
Think of it this way
A batch of cookie dough starts as one ball in a bowl. You pull it apart into two equal pieces, then split each piece again. Each new piece of dough has the same recipe as the first. Soon the bowl is full of smaller dough balls, all made from that one original piece.
Explaining cell proliferation by grade level
Your body is made of tiny cells. These cells can split in two to make new cells. This is how you grow taller and heal cuts. When you scrape your knee, new cells grow to fix the skin.
