Food Additives
Food additives are extras mixed into food to change its color, taste, or how long it lasts.
Think of it this way
When you bake a cake, you mix in extras like vanilla and baking powder. Each extra changes something. Vanilla adds flavor. Baking powder makes it rise. A pinch of salt cuts the sweetness. The cake base stays the same, but the extras shift its taste, texture, and look. Food additives work the same way. Small amounts get mixed into food to change specific qualities.
