Normal Distribution
Normal distribution is a pattern where most results land in the middle and fewer results appear at the edges.
Think of it this way
Bake a batch of cookies. Most turn out medium-sized. A few come out small, and a few come out large. That middle-heavy spread is a normal distribution.
Explaining normal distribution by grade level
Drop marbles through a board with pegs. Most marbles fall near the center. Fewer marbles end up on the sides. The pile in the middle is always the tallest.
