Peer Pressure
Peer pressure is the push people feel to act like others around them.
Think of it this way
A bowl of fruit sits on the counter. Most of the fruit has rolled to one side. A lone apple stays near the middle, but the weight of the group presses against it. Over time, the apple shifts toward the rest.
Explaining peer pressure by grade level
Think about a group game where everyone picks the same answer. You might pick that answer too, even if you think a different one is right. That push you feel to go along with the group is peer pressure. It can be hard to choose your own way.
