Soil pH
Soil pH is how sour or mild the dirt is, which changes how well plants can grow.
Think of it this way
Soil pH works like the tartness of a cup of tea. A very sour tea has lots of tiny acid particles floating in the liquid. Add milk to the cup and the acid level drops. The tea becomes mild. Soil works the same way. Acid particles in the dirt dissolve the minerals plants need. But too many acid particles lock those minerals away, just like over-soured tea turns harsh and undrinkable.
Explaining soil ph by grade level
Some soil is sour like lemon juice. Some soil is mild like plain water. Carrot seeds grow better in mild soil. Sour soil can stop seeds from growing.
