Stress Response
Stress Response is how your body reacts when it senses a threat or a big change.
Think of it this way
When a pot of water sits on a cold stove, nothing moves. Turn on the burner and the whole pot reacts fast. Heat particles at the bottom shoot upward. Cooler water rushes down to fill the gap. The whole system shifts to handle the change.
Explaining stress response by grade level
When something scares you, your heart beats fast. Your hands may feel cold and shaky. Loud music or a scary game can start this same feeling. Calm things like slow songs or rest help your body settle back down.
